Trainers for everyday style…

Today I am wearing, navy broderie anglaise top Phase Eight, white linen trousers Zara, Adidas trainters,

Trainers play a big part in my everyday style. I usually buy men’s trainers as they seem to fit my wide feet, and I go for the retro look. Keep them fresh by having several pairs on the go ( I own stone, french blue, and black at the moment).

My Today I Am Wearing credits: Retro sneakers, Adidas see here. Navy Broderie Anglaise button back top, Phase Eight – a while back, so they don’t have it now, try this lace top by Kalico at John Lewis. White leather watch M & S, similar here. White linen trousers, years and years old from Zara. Vintage-style flower pendant in old gold, Charity Shop!

If you are looking for a smart trainer for work, (or for the commute), try the Geox brand in black patent shown below.

And there is always the wedge trainer to consider, shown below from & Other Stories

If you wear wide or boot cut trousers, you don’t want to ruin and scuff the hems (if you swap from trainers, heels or low pumps) – so you should ideally have two pairs of work trousers on the go with different lengths.

Although I am featuring my white linen trousers today, (clinging on to summer!), I also  wear the exact same outfit with my boot cut style, black work trousers when the weather starts to turn.  Remember, that navy and black make a smart colour combination and broderie anglaise or lace, can spice up your day wear!
