A background in fashion

For many years, I worked as the Fashion Editor of COSMOPOLITAN MAGAZINE attending fashion shoots with celebrities, models and hair and make-up artists at the top of their profession. I have also contributed articles on fashion trends and personal style to various women's journals and radio networks. With my freelance work, I still enjoy travelling overseas to warmer locations as a Clothes Stylist on fashion photographic shoots.

A future in style consultancy

Whilst I have had the opportunity to work with some of the world's most beautiful women – including Elle Macpherson, Naomi Campbell and Jerry Hall – I now find most satisfaction in working with real women with real fashion issues in my style consultancy business. Dressing with style is so much easier when you are in your twenties and any fashion mistakes you make, you can get away with. However, as we progress through our thirties and forties, assembling a stylish wardrobe takes a bit more planning. Your priorities may have shifted to children, work or relatives – and sometimes all three! This may leave little time or money to keep up with the ever-changing face of fashion.
